At every point I am questioning. Not only just the world, but the way in which my existence collaborates itself in this world.
My thesis and life work focus itself on the meaning and limitations of contemporary Black South African cultural identity (in particular, the gendered dimensions of this experience) through carefully and haphazardly nuanced crafting of public performance encounters that draw from both public and intimate lived experiences.
I write little letters and poetry to myself. That is where I connect with myself in ways I have always struggled, so for me, writing is therapy and a necessity.
I have the largest interest in sound. Making sound, creating sound, living as sound.
