When deciding on the styles he was going to embed into this workshop, Sashin Rob Kandhai considered multiple options and eventually settled on a classical Indian fusion and the increasingly popular Afrofusion as a way to show how versatile dance can be. What I love about experiencing Sashin's choreography workshops in action is how seriously he takes his craft as he educates others in the details and intricacies thereof... but I also just ADORE how much fun every, single person has on that dancefloor! I cannot wait to see what we can do with our Artist in Residence project after the summer holidays (see below for a sneak peek!)
